Transversal cross sections of the cervical segments From the New Zealand type rabbits' spinal cords of nearly a year old have been taken and stained by myelin and Nissl stains. Nine laminae have been determined in the spinal cord when the cross sections have been examined under the light microscope. It has been observed that six of these laminae are in the dorsal horn and the other three are in the ventral horn of the spinal cord.
