Suture patterns of 100 skulls front the archives of anatong departments of medical schools of Selruk, flacettepe and Aegean Univers* ---ilswer-e in-vestigated. Also antero-posterior cranial ra-diography of 30 elementary school children were obtained to determine the cranial suture patterns at youngers ages. LainbdOid and COR-a sutures were compared -with each other in terms of sutural pattern forms and the area of 3-untre patterns. The morphologic he-terogeneity of cranial sutures were also studied. In this study age dependent sutural pattern can not be assertaineed. The obliteration of sutures occur with ageing. Metopic sutures containing skulls also had l'OrMian bones corallary to other studies published else villere.
