Magnesium (Mg2 +) deficiency is likely to occur when acute myocardial infarction develops in patients with ischemic cardiomyopathy, diabetics, hypertensive patients treated with diuretics and diuretics. Potassium (K) deficiency may accompany Mg2 + deficiency. In 37 patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI), serum K + and Mg2 + analyzes were performed and in 3 of 7 patients with hypomagnesemia, ventricular rhythm disturbances were detected (42.8%). In the group of 30 people with serum Mg2 + levels within normal limits, ventricular arrhythmia was detected in 4 (13.3%) patients.
