Multiple Sclerosis With Dysesthesia Symptoms

Multiple sclerosis(MS) lesions can occur in different parts of the central nervous system therefore cause a variety of symptoms and signs.In this case receive a diagnosis of MS without finding anything other than dysesthesia and changed into a very different clinical pictures of musculoskeletal symptomatology of MS would like to draw attention to an insidious course. 22-year-old female patient physical therapy clinic complaining of dysesthesia that since the last 1 month in the right arm.All examination of the outside of the left arm common dysesthesia;cranial nerve,superficial and deep sensory,motor,deep tendon reflex and pathological reflexes examination was normal. There was no resume and family history feature.Neck x-ray was normal.But magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in the spinal cord to be C2-3 and C3-4 levels hyperintense signal in the T2sequence and also in the brain in the left centrum semiovale hypointense signal in T1,hyperintense signal in T2sections,and after İV of Gad,bialteral centrum semiovale and periventricular white matter was observed enhancing rim millimeter-sized demyelinating plaques. In CSF oligoclonal bands tended positive IgGindex was 0.98. Routine blood tests was normal. After evaluating the case with neurology,clinical,radiological and laboratory data were evaluated by the MS after the exclusion of other etiology. 1000 mg/day dose intravenous methylprednisolone was given for 5 days. When the diagnosis of MS is easy to put the classic symptoms,but atypical in navigation is difficult to diagnose. This is how a variety of signs and symptoms within the scope of physical therapy clinics and how different it may indicate an underlying disease.
