Pulmonary edema following the obstruction of an upper airway is an uncomman and unpredictable clinical situation. In this case report, it was aimed to discuss the ethiology, pathophsiology, diagnosis and treatment methods of negative pressure pulmonary edema (NPPE) that developed just after the resolution of laringopasm in the patient who underwent to gynecologic operation. Early diagnosis and treatment can affect the mortality and morbidity in NPPE.
