This study was peıformed on 71 coronary heart patients (51 male, 20 female, 44-78 years old) and 55 healthy subjects (25 male, 30 female, 42-73 years old). In the patients with coronary heart disease, int-raerythrocytic cholinesterase (EACHE) levels, plas-ma cholinesterase I HDL (CRF) and int-raerythrocytic cholinesterase I HDL ratios (VRF) were higher and plasma cholinesterase activities were lower than values of control group. It was concluded that in addition to ERF and CRF, EACHE I IIDL ratio (VRF) might be an im-portant risk factor for coronary heart disease.
