This study was carried out for the quaniitative deterrnination of in vivo platelet aggregation rate in diabetics and ta corrıpare with the healthy controls. The study was performed on a total of 100 ir?eople divided as control and diabetic groups. Platelet aggregation rate was found to be significanily lower in the diabetic group. The decrease on the platelet aggregation rale in diabetics was not related directly with age, body, weight, duration of diabetes and the fasting blood sugar level. in diabetic group, platelet aggregation rate showed a proportiorzal decrease with ageing.
