53 posterior lumbotomy was applied to 45 selective cases with different purposes between 1985 and 1991 in the Urology Department of Medical Faculty of Konya Selçuk University. As a result of the application in the selective cases, posterior lumbotomy was more adventageous in comparison Man the classical approach, because the postoperative complications an2I pain were at minimal level in the elimination of obstructive pathology in pelvis renalis, middle and upper ureter, alsa it early ambulation opportunity and incisional hernia were not develop.
