Preoperatively Diagnosed Isolated Fallopian Tubal Torsion

Isolated tubal torsion other than combination with ovarian torsion is reported in few articles in the literature. Especially in cases with normal appearing ovaries and having acute abdomen clinic as like usual torsion, this disease should be kept in mind. In this report a case of isolated tubal torsion is presented which is diagnosed preoperatively with ultrasonography and computed tomography and possible results of the delay in the treatment is discussed.
