This study was carried out together by department of internal medicine and department of psychiatry in Selcuk University Medical School in 1995. 64 cancer patients diagnosed and followed up in internal me-dicine department were assessed and SCL-90-R was performed to the patients in this study. In 21.9% of the patients (14 patients) GSI> I. 34.4% the patients in this study (22 patients) had signs of somatisation, 45.3% (19 patients) had signs of depression and 26.6% (17patients) had signs of anxiety. Findings were discussed in the literature.
