İn this retropective study, patients with atherosclerotic risk factors and the related clinical diagnosis, angiographic scoring and regional distribution were investigated. A total of 630 patients (450 male, 180 female, mean age 56,2 ± 9.3) t hat underwent coronary angiography were enrolled. Patients were classified according to the clinical characteristic and Reardon’s modified severity scoring which is the indicator of the extend of coronary artery disease, was calculated. A parallel increase in coronary disease along with higher triglicehdes was observed, which was significantly different betvveen single and double vessel disease(p<0,05). The same correlation was apparent between HDL levels and the extent of the disease vvhich was remarkable in single and triple vessel disease group (p<0,05). Triglyceride levels varied as higher in males younger than 60 year of age vvhile smoking was lower in the same group (p<0,05). On the other hand hypertension was observed more frequently in elder patients (<60 year of age) (p<0,05). As a conclusion, ali risk factors other than smoking appeared to be higher than TEKHARF cohort, which were given for Central Anatolia region.
