In this study, it was investigated whether Rh sen-sitization occurred in Rh(-) newborns and aclults from Rh(+) mothers. Rh sensitization was found to be 8% of the cases. It has been discussed whether it was ne-cessary to administer anti-D to these newborn girls. It was estimated that if anti-D administered one of the causes of the Rh hemolytic disease might be abolished.
