Sclerodenna is a rare mıthisystem disorder characterized bv inflammatory, vascular, and fib-rotic changes of the skin with various organ involements. The associatiOn between scleroderma and malignancy has not been described with certainry so far, bur there are some case reporu that might have us ta think the close causal relationship between the onsets of scleroderma and neoplasms. We have peıformed f lrae needie aspiration biopsy two times from the hypoactive thyroid nodule in a patient with scleroderma. Both of the thyroid smears have been reported as "suspect of malignancy (Class III)". Thus, we thought that our patient might be a model for the relation between the on_sets of sclerodenna and neoplasms and reviewed the literature.
