Spontaneous achilles tendon ruptures are not common situations and may occur due to prolonged use of systemic corticosteroids. In this study, 43 years old male patient with Behçet’s disease who had spontaneous achilles tendon rupture during daily activities is presented and the literature about spontaneous major tendon ruptures (achilles, quadriseps) in patients who have systemic corticosteroids treatment was reviewed.
