                Among the mediastinal masses, malign tumors are the main cause for superior vena cava syndrome ata rate of 80-90%. Benign tumors and öne of them substernal goiter are unusual cases. In this report, a rare case of a substernal goiter which caused superior vena cava syndrome is presented.
