Foto patients with chronic idiopathic constipation who had medical treatment for many years, underwent surgical treatment. They had complains for 10 years and defecaled once every 12 days, although !hey had medication. Sigmoidectorny was performed in 3 patients and one patient had left hernicolectomy. Defecation processes were improved significantly during postoprative early and tate periods.
