Several putmonary and cardiovascular reactions may be appeared during the surgery of the hip replacement. Many clinical and experimen-tal investigations have been made to explain the causes of these reactions and many views have been suggested. In this paper, the subject has been reviewed in the light of clinical and experimental studies.
