Anthropometric measurements were perform ed to assess the physical growth and developmet of the prim ary school children. For this purpose; the body height and vveight, and head, thorax, ab domen, pelvis, upper and lover extrem ities related parts measurements of 356 prim ary school children were com plated and analysed statistically regarding sex and age. The results were also com pared with other studies from different part of the Turkey and possible factors vvhich might have contributed to the differences were discussed. We expect that our findings could be used a reference norm for grovvth and development in Konya and will be useful in the es- tablishm ent of the standart values of Turkish children body measurements.
