Fine needle aspiration biopsy %vas pet:formed in 6 patients with diagnosed retroperitoneal masses by routine •adiologic investigation in our clinic in the last I year. In 4 patients renal cell carcinoma, in 1 patient hematoma, in .1 patient perirenal abscess was di-agnosed with fine needle aspiration biopsies. Renal cell carcinomas MU corrected with histopathologic examination of nephrectomy specimen. The patient ►•ith hematoma was treated conservatively. We conclude that fine needle aspiration biopsy to be a simple, cheap and relatively noninvasive for preoperative tissue diagnosis.
