According to the fundamental nature of penile erection, insufficiency of the arteriel blood supply to the corpora cavernosa caused by an organic arteriel disease is found in a large fraction of case. Our experience in the treatmen of stenoses or obstruction of the common iliac arteries with PTA, rotacs and intra-arteriel stents in 27 patients, between 38-63 years of ages, are reported. Clinical finding were lower limb claudicatio in all patients and impotence in 12 patients. The underlying disease was atherosclerosis in all 27 patients. Restitution of potency was recorded 4-12 months after the PTA or intravasccular stent application. After the intervention of procedures in 9 (%75) of the 12 patients, potency was succesliilly restored. As a results we think that radiological interventional procedures are succesfull in treatment of impotency which has arteriel etiology.
