We have studied the effects of Etomidate on ECG and effects on serum electrolyte levels_ Disrytrnia have not been noticed on ECG and there were not significant changings in serum electrolyte levels prior to the anesthesia or at the 15th. ıninute onset of the anesthesia. These results show that Etomidate have no side effect on CVS and serum electrolyte levels, there for it can be used safely in cardiac patient and canditions which elevated serum K+ levels.
