The Epidemiologic, Clinic and Hystopathologic Properties of Hodgkin Disease in Konya Region

In this study, 29 patients with Hodgkin Disease (HD) were evaluated retrospectively between 1988 and 1994 in Selcuk University, Department of In-ternal Medicine. Among 435 malignant cases fol-lowed up in the same period, incidence of HD was 6.6%. MalelFemale ratio was 1.41. Mean age for women and men were 41.3±12.7 and 41.5±14.7 res-pectively. Mixed cellularity was the most common histologic type (75.86%) and most of the patients had high grade disease. B group symptoms (fever, night sweats, weight loss) were present in 100% of cases.
