The frequency of MVP in childer with innocent murmurs and inci-dence of innocent murmurs in schooling aged children have been inves-tigated during this study. The incidence of innocent murmur has been found to be 40.6 percent. This result is consistent with the other researches which have been pub-lished in the literature. The incidence of MVP in children with innocent murmurs is found to be 16 percent. This shows that MVP in children with innocent murmurs is not frequent than normal child population.
