In this study; the lipofuscin pigment of the neuron of the spinal ganglions, formatio reticularis, three parts of the spinal cord and purkingje cells of the cerebellum of the aged white New Zealland rabbits were studied. The pigment were studied following: Alternative Nile Blue Methode +, Hueck rnethode +, PAS and indephenol +, Sudan Black B +, Schmorl methode -„ Long Ziehl Neelson -, Masson-Fontana and Chrom Alum -. The lipofuscin pigment in the Purkinje cells have never been found.
