In a period of January 1984 - June 1990, how 785 coagulase negative staplıylococcus strains res-pond to several antimicrobics in !Ize urine and soıne exudate rrıaterials dua came to routine laboratory of Selçuk University, Faculty of Akılicine, Microbio-logy Department were studied. lt found that ciprof-loxacin <97.7%), tobramycin (97.2%), cephaperazone (96.7%), ofloxacin (%6.0%), amoxicillin-clavulonic asid (95.4%) were elliden,: nalidixic asit (32.0%), trimethoprim-sulphartıethoxazole (37.9%), tetracyc-line (40.1%), lincomycin (44.9%), penicillin - G (45.7%) were less efficient.
