Nineteen cases were exarnined by computed tomography (CT) and ultrasonography (US). Gallstones were diagnosed in all of the cases (%100) with US. 14 oul of nineteen cases. were ,diagnosed by CT (%73,6). Common bile duci stone was diagnosed in three cases with CT and in one case with US. All of the cases had obstructive jaundiced. As a result, US is more sensitive !han CT in the diagnosis of the gallbladder stones. However, CT is more effective method than US in the diagnosis of the comrnon bile duct stones.
