Tracheal stenosis related to prolonged intubation is a important
clinical problem, currently. Its incidence has decreased with
recognition of its etiology and modifications in the endotracheal
and tracheostomy tubes. A tracheal stenosis related to prolonged
intubation was detected by three dimension computed tomography
and bronchoscopy in a 46-year-old man. Although the bronchoscopic
dilatation, stenosis recurred. Therefore the tracheal sleeve resection
was performed. We aimed to emphasize the diagnosis and treatment
in the tracheal stenosis related to prolonged intubation.
