Drugs in this group often have a depressive effect on the central nervous system and more or less all of them have the potential to cause Hag addiction. Narcotic analgesics do not have anti-typiretic and anti-inflammatory effects. Opioids have been used for hundreds of years to relieve pain caused by surgery, to relieve pain in patients with chronic pain, and to alleviate anxiety. It is not used only for premedication, but also as an analgesic after surgery and anesthesia. Substances of the opiate word such as morphine, codeine and papaverine obtained only from papaver somniferum. The opioid word is more appropriate to refer to the complete group.
