In this study visually evoked cortical potential re-sponsc.N obtained from 46 migraine patients (9 males and 37 _females) and a sufficient number of control cases. Amplitude and latency values of P100 waves were statistically analysed. VEP atnplitüde values of painful and painless periods of the whole group were compared. Values from painful periods were found to be higher than those obtained from painless periods (p<0,05). Iligh values of VEP amplitude in migraine pa-tients is a finding frequently mentioned in literature and is ascribed to excitability of the retina and occip-ital cortex. Our results were found to be consistent with the literature.
