Experiences Of The Patients At Emergency Critical Intevsive Care Unit

The aim of this study was to determine the experiences of emergency critical intensive care unit patients. This descriptive study was conducted at an emergency critical intensive unit in a Teaching and Research Hospital located in Konya. One hundred twenty one intensive care patients were included in the study. A questionnaire and “Intensive Care Experience Scale” were used as data collection tools. Of the patient,50.4%of them were female, 19% of them had elementary school graduates or lower degree education and 66.1% of them were married. Patients’score of intensive care experiences scale was 60.09±6.53. At the end of the study, it was determined that the patients inthe intensive care units lived negative experiences partly.
