Kronik böbrek yetmezliği {KBY) olan 20 olguda ve 24 sağlıklı kontrol grubunda serum E vitami-ni, IIDL kolesterol ve 11DL E vitamini düzeyleri ölçüldü. Bu parametreler strastyla kontrol grubu için 1.1063 ± 0.0079 mgldl, 48 ± 4.81 mgidl ve 0.1095 ± 0.0094 mg/dl olarak ve KBY grubu için 1.0881 ±. 0.0437 mg1d1, 26.55 ± 6.21 mgldl ve 0.2657 ± 0.1209 mg/dl olarak saptandı. Bulgu-lartmtza göre KBY olgularında IIDL E vitamini düzeyi belirgin olarak yüksek ve IIDL kolesterol düzeyi belirgin olarak düşiiktür (p<0.001).
