Multifokal Colorectal Cancers

We presented three cases of rnultifocal colorectal cancer that we encountered between 1983-1989, only one of the three cases was correctly diagrıosed prooperatively. We observed that the other two cases had multicentricity during operalion. The case of rnultifocal carcinoma of rectum had a number of polyps between turnors. These polyps were unidentified preoperatively owing to listal narrowing of the 'umar. Recently, in the treatment of colorectal cancers extensive resection has been suggested because 'hey may be rrıulticentric or will be found with some polyps carrying rnalignancy risk.
