Yeni doğanda lateral ve 3. ventrikülün normal büyüklüğünü belirlemek amacı ile, 64 normal yeni doğana, anterior fontanelden ultrasonografi yapıldı. Çocukların yaşı 3 gün ile 3 ay arasındadır. Lateral ve 3. ventrikül büyüklüğü, lateral ventrikülün açılanması ve asiınetrisi ölçülmüştür. intervenriküler açı 69 ±8 derece bulunmuştur.
