Protein-enerji malnutrisyonlu 8 hastada lipidli ve lipidsiz total parenteral nutrisyon solüsyonlartnın etkisi araştırıkiı. Lipidsiz gruptaki bezoara bağlı rekürren barsak obstrük.siyonlu bir hasta dışındakiler kilo aldı. Lipidli grupta karaciğer fonksiyonlarında bazı önemsiz değişiklikler gözlendi. Total parenteral beslenmeden kısa bir süre sonra karaciğer fonksiyonları normale döndü.
