Squa mous Cell Carcinoma with Multiple Cavitary Pulmonary Nodules

We report a patient with nudtiple cavitary pulmonary nodules. Cytologic examination of the sputum revealed squanwus cell carcinoma. It could not befotaid any exrrapulmonary focus that originates this type of carcinoma and spetum cultures gave negative results for acid-fast bacilli, pathogenic bacteria as well as fungi. For this reason multiple cavitary lesions were considered for pulmonary lesions of bronchial squamous cell carcinoma. To our knowledge, this is a very rare radiologic manifestation of squamous cell carcinoma of the bronchus.
