It is known that different factors, not a single one, play a role in the formation of cancer, which is accepted to develop as a result of a "mutation" in a normal cell. These factors also differ for the tissue or organ in which the cancer develops. Determining the factors that affect the etiology of a cancer requires complex approaches and studies. However, in general, it is possible to group cancer-related factors as those that increase the risk of cancer, those that reduce the risk of cancer, and those that cause cancer. Diet constitutes a "community of factors" associated with all three groups. This review has been prepared to investigate the effect of diet on various organ cancers and to reveal the measures that can be taken in the light of the information obtained.
