Dicle Üniversitesi Tip Fakültesi Üroloji Kliniğine son 12 yıllık bir süre zarfında başvuran (1970 - 1983) 2550 taştı hasta incelenmiştir. Taşların lokalizasyon, cins, yaş ve bölgeye göre dağılımı sunulmuştur. Mesane taşı erkek cinsin hakim hastalığıdır, bölgemizde yaygın görülür (özellikle erken çocuklukta daha yaygındır).
