Kontamine yaralarda antibiyoliklerle kombine edilen ultrason uygulaması sonucu, antibakieryal etkinin çeşitli yayınlara göre 1.7-10.8 misli arttığı rapor edilmektedir. Ultrasonun, kernoterapöıik ajanın mikroorganizrna duvarıyla daha çok temasa gelmesini sağlayarak etkili olduğu düşünülmektedir. 1 14 derlemede konuyla ilgili olarak Doğu Blokunda yapılan çalışmalar hakkında bilgi verilmiştir.
