Akut ağrılı skrotum hastalıklarında ayırıcı teşhiste düşünülmesi gereken appendiks epididiinis torsiyonu klinikte çok nadir görülür. Literatür gözden geçirildiğinde çoğu appendiks testis torsiyonları ile birlikte rapor edilmiş birkaç appendiks epididimis vakası vardır.
