Psoriasis ve artritinin simultane meydana gelişi 15 yıldan daha fazla zamandanberi bildirilmektedir. Buna rağmen bu birlikteliği!, önemi henüz belli de-ğildir. Hernekadar ayak parmağı tutulursa da, gut-tan ayınedilmesi zor değildir, ancak serum ürik asidi yükselmesi yaygın psoriasisle geçici olarak meydana gelebilir. Romatoid faktör psoriasiste buunmaz.
