Bu çalışmada 20 hastada preoperatif ve postoperatif devrelerdeki plazma çinko seviyeleri arasındaki ilişki sunulmaktadır. Cerrahi travmanın plazma çinko seviyesinde belirgin düşüşe neden olduğu saptandı. Plazma çinko seviyesinde azalma ile idrar çinko atılımı arasında bir ilişki bulunamadı.
