Tip II diaberes mellituslıt (DM) hastalarda ve sağlıklı kişilerde serum fruktozamin seviyeleri tayin edildi. DM vakalarında fruktozamin düzeyleri 142-1-0.80 mMIL ve kontrol grubunda ise 2.22±0.52 mMİL olarak bulundu. Her iki gruba ait değerler a-rasındaki farkın istatistik' açıdan önemli olduğu gö-rüldü(p <0.01). Fruktozamin analizi hem kolay hem de otoanali-zöre uygulanabilir olduğundan DM vakalarının ta-kibinde rutin bir test olarak kullanılabileceği kanaatine varıldı.
