7 Haftalık 116 normal gebe kadında so-nografık olarak ölçülen distal femur eplfzi sekonder ossifikasyon merkezi (DFE) ile yenidoğanın doğum ağırlığı arasında ilişki araştırıldı. DFE mm ol-duğunda yenidoğanın doğum ağırlığı DFE olmayan veya <5 mm ölçülenlere göre daha normal bulundu. DFE ölçümünün fetal büyümeyi takip amacı ile kul-lanılabileceği kararına varıldı.
