Bu çalışmada, etken ve edilgen yapıdaki fillerin gerek metin içinde gerekse izole- olarak okunuşundaki vizüel fiksasyon süreleri EOG yöntemiyle ölçüldü. Edilgen yapılı fiillerde ortalama fiksasyon süresi 308±_10 ms.; etken yapılı fiillerde ise ortalama fik-sasyon süresi 287±21 ms. olarak bulundu. Bu bulgular ilgili literatür bilgileriyle birlikte değerlendirildi. Edilgen fiillerde fiksasyonun (Iken fiillere göre daha uzun süreli oluşunun bu fillerin semantik içeriğinin daha :engin oluşundan ileri gelebileceği düşünüldü.
