Epidural hematomlar en sık görülen nöroşirürjikal acil cerrahi patolojilerden bir tanesidir. Akut epidural hematomlar sıklıkla travma sonrası arteria meningea media ve dallarının kanaması sonrası epidural alanda kanın birikmesiyle meydana gelir. Nadiren venöz orijinli olarak venöz sinüs kanamalarında da görülebilirler. Tedavisinde sıklıkla cerrahi dekompresyon yapılarak hematom boşaltılır. Biz bu olguda cerrahi dekompresyon yapılmadan konservatif olarak takip ve tedavi edilen cerrahi epidural hematom olgusunu sunacağız.
