Herpes Zoster ve malign hastalıklar

Son 5 yılda Selçuk Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Dermatoloji polikliniğe başvuran herpes zosterli ( HZ) hastalar malign hastalıklar yönünden araştırıldı. 213 HZ’ Ii hastanın 12 ( %5,68) sinde akciğer, karaciğer, över, mesane kanseri, skuamöz hücreli karsinomf SCC), kronik lenfositik lösemi (KLL) ve non- hodgkin lenfoma gibi malign hastalıklar saptandı. Herpes Zoster geçiren hastalarını malign hastalıklar yönünden araştırılmasının uygun olacağı ancak hastalığın, bir kanser habercisi gibi ele alınmaması gerektiği düşünüldü.
