Amyand herni, inguinal herni kesesi içinde normal veya inflame appendiks vermiformis bulunması olarak tarif edilir. İlk kez 1735 yılında C. Amyand tarafından tarif edilmiştir ve inguinal hernilerde yaklaşık %1 oranında görülür. Bu yazımızda inkarsere inguinal herni ön tanısıyla opere edilip akut apandisit tespit edilen amyand hernili 2 hastayı sunduk.
