Bu çalışmada insan nöırofil granülositlerinden saflaştırılmış NADI! oksidaz en:iminin bazı özel-likleri araştırılmıştır. Sonuçta en:inıiıı molekül ağır-lığı 280.000 Kmisi 4.8x104, optinıum pirs; 7, op-timum sıcaklığı 37 °C olarak tesbit edilmiş, ayrıca ATP, ADP ve steroidler tarafından inhibe edildiği anlaşılmıştır. Saflaştırılmış enzimin NADPH'ı oksitlemediği görülmüş ve NADH'e spesifik olduğu anlaşılmıştır.
