izole sıçan aortunda kümüliatif konsantrasyonda uygulanan Ba2+ doza bağımlı bir kasılma oluşturdu. Bu kasılma verapamil tarafından inhibe edildi. Ca2+Isuz ortamda ise, Ba2+ kontrol cevaba göre küçük fakat anlamlı bir kasılmaya neden oldu. Bu cevap verapamil tarafından inhibe Bulgular bu dokuda Ba2÷'un ekstraselüler Ca2+ girişini artırarak kasılma yaptığım ve buna ilave olarak intraselider olayları da tetikleyerek bu kasılmaya katkıda bulunduğunu telkin etmektedir.
