Bu çalışmada Haziran 1989 - Haziran 1993 tarihleri arasında ameliyat edilen 17 hastanın 19 göz kapağına uygulanan ptozis cerrahisi sonuçlara analiz edil-mektedir. Ağır ptozisi olan 7 göz kapağı frontale askı ile tedavi edilirken, hafif ya da orta ptozis olan 12 göz kapağına levator rezeksiyonu yapılmıştır. Başarı oranı % 79 olarak bulunmuştur. Bu oran daha önce göz literatüründe bildirilenlere paralellik göstermektedir.
